Samsung S1 Mini 1.8" External HDD Review

Page 4 - Conclusion

Pros

• Fast transfer
• Large capacity (120 G)
• Very compact
• Widely available interface no need of external power
• Software

Cons

• Completely plastic case
• A tad pricey (150$)
• No carrying pouch

Samsung S1 Mini is a product that can carry your large amounts of data in very compact body. External 1.8” drives are still somewhat "new" to the market and therefore - pricey. As for the particular one we're reviewing, is comes at a price considerably lower that the one of its competitors in Bulgaria, while still being king of a hard to swallow. If you 're in need of minimal physical representation and are not willing to compromise speed and capacity at that - then this product is exactly what you need. But should you are willing to use a 2.5" portable hard drive, then you'll be getting three times more capacity for the same amount of money.

Many thanks to our friends from Solytron , that made this review possible.
