Vizo Shuttle ST - External 2.5-inch HDD Enclosure Review

Page 4 - Conclusion

Pros

• Aluminum hull
• Stylish design
• Good performance
• Lucrative price (22$)
• Bulged body for additional protection
• Availability of external power jack
• Easy to use

Cons

• The bulged hull design makes it larger
• The hard drive has limited direct contact with the hull and therefore heat dispersion is less than ideal
• No spear screws provided. So don't lose any.
• Limited application, should you not already own a 2.5” hard drive

Vizo Shuttle ST is a product with stylish design, good performance and wonderful price. The question though is whether this class of products are needed anymore – external hard drives are nowadays having prices equal to those of an external enclosure and hard drive combo, not to mention them being faster too. Then again, should you have a unused 2.5” SATA hard drive at hand, then Vizo Shuttle ST would be a perfect addition to it, and cheap one too – just a couple quids more expensive than the cheapest products of this kind.

Many thanks to our friends from Vizo , for making this review possible.
