The MSI experiment on creating a laptop based on the new mobile processors of Intel (Core i7 720QM) and nVidia (GeForce GTS 250M), is largely successful. The end result is a high-performance machine, suitable for gamest that travel a lot or even professionals that deal with graphic-intensive applications. The performance is backed up by very good design and aluminum body. The complete set includes even a backpack (very good one), mouse and game - overall quite fitting for a product of such class. The high price of the laptop might repulse some users, but then again for the time being we are still unaware of what discounts are made on it here in Bulgaria, thus if its real price is within the boundaries we mention in the beginning – it can indeed be very tempting offer. Alas, it sill has some major issues too, ones preventing it from being a perfect product. Unfortunately MSI continue to disappoint by not listening to negative comments and again we get uncomfortable keyboard and glossy display. The integrated sound too is not on the required level for such machine, and for the battery we can only say that such short life is easily explained and expected, considering the hunger of the powerful components inside the laptop.
many thanks to our friends from MSI , for making this review possible.
