For the tests of the case we used the following configuration:
- Processor: Intel C2D Е4500 @ 3.3 GHz
- Motherboard: ASUS P5K-E WiFi
- Video card: Albatron NVidia 8800 GT
- Hard drive: Maxtor 250 GB
- PSU: CoolerMaster Real Power 1000W
We concluded two groups of three tests: in Idle mode, under CPU load and under GPU load. Both groups of tests were made on the system OUTSIDE and INSIDE the case.
Testing in IDLE mode, was done by leaving the machine at Windows desktop for about 10 minutes with no other programs running. For tests under load we gathered results from RealTemp 2.70 (the most adequate program for obtaining temperatures of 45nm Intel processor for now), after 30 minutes of running OCCT 2.0. For the GPU load tests we used a 30 minute session of Futuremark. Results you see are degrees centigrade ABOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE, this way the eliminating the influence of ambient conditions and get better results. This way assuming the room temperature to be 20 degrees and the table shows value of 15 degrees, that means the actual temperature was 35 degrees.

From the tests you can clearly see how much higher is the temperature inside the case. Overall the hard drive is cooler, but hen again it is placed right behind a fan. The air flow is definitely well calculated, alas the not too big case is indeed somewhat restricting and that reflects on temperatures. As for the noise - both system fans are quiet enough and anti-vibration materials are everywhere.
