A+ Black Pearl II is well packed in large box that protects it well, especially considering its fragile side panels (we'll talk more about that later). The box proudly bears a bold exclamation in the form of the "High-End Aluminum Designer Case" inscription. Apparently the Taiwanese had become found of these things lately:
We agree with the first part of that inscription completely. But what about the „Designer“ part? Well, out of the box we pulled this black aluminum piece of work:
The right panel of A+ Black Pearl II has huge netted opening that assists cooling and the top of the case has opening that could be filled with additional 120 mm fan. And mind you, I say "could" not by mere slip of the tongue. On the top are also (as in any self-respecting case) placed the extension connectors:
The back panel is interesting too. There is opening for 120 fan, additional openings beneath it and tool-less plate for the PSU. A handy thing indeed, it allows you to remove the PSU if the way forward is blocked:
The case kit also includes short manual/guide for component installing and ample supply of screws and washers. The helper is not included. Get your own! :)
And another view of the top panel, extension connectors and the fan controller/thermometer in particular:
