Intel Slashes Price of Core i7-950 by 48%

Intel is going to adjust the pricing of some processors before August is gone, and has also announced some new products.

The Core i7-950 will show the most noticeable price cut = a 48% slash that brought the chip from $562 to $294.

Xeon W3550 is now available for $294, instead of $387. The new six-core Xeon W3670 has been unveiled, clocked at 3.2GHz, sold for $885. Other new products include 3.33GHz Core i3-560, 3.33GHz Pentium E6800, 3.0GHz Pentium E5700, 2.70GHz Celeron E3500 and 1.5GHz Atom N550, being priced at $138/86/75/52/86 respectively.
