Intel Says Pineview on Schedule for Q4 Launch

Rumors had it that Intel’s next-generation Atom CPUs had been delayed to Q1 2010, but the company is now saying that it will be launch them in Q4 this year.

Intel will ship the new chips to PC makers in late Q4, though the real products will not be ready until 2010.

The new-gen Pine Trail-M platform will employ NM10 Express chipset, and dual-chip design (CPU+PCH) which helps to reduce the die size and power consumption.
