Where other power meters put on a wall outlet only measure the power inefficiency of the power supply; users can measure with MSI GreenPower Genie real-time the power consumption from the whole system if it is based on a MSI P45 mainboard, not only from the CPU or power supply.

MSI GreenPower Genie

MSI GreenPower Genie can be placed between the power supply and MSI P45 mainboard and is connected via the SM Bus (System Management Bus). MSI GreenPower Genie detects real-time 12V, 5V and 3.3V and displays its measurement in the BIOS and/or MSI GreenPower Center software.
